Terms of serviceThe contract between you and AIMERICA LLC.
911 on an internet phoneHow 911 works on AIMERICA and its limits, for customers in Canada and the United States.
Telecom rules we follow, in plain words
- 911. Every phone number has an emergency address registered with the carrier, re-checked every hour. A 911 call is never blocked, whatever else is wrong with the account. When 911 is dialled, the owners and administrators of the company are told at once, with the person's name, the line and the callback number, and so are the emergency contacts the company named. Each person can state their own 911 address for the days they work away from the office.
- Call recording. A spoken notice plays at the start of every recording, in the company's language, and the recording does not start if the notice cannot be played. The notice is kept as the consent record. Nothing is recorded unless the company asked.
- Texting. STOP is honoured automatically and START opts back in. Canadian numbers are texted in bulk only with consent on record (Canada's anti-spam law).
- Do Not Call. Every outgoing call is checked against the company's own do-not-call list, STOP replies and, once loaded, the National Do Not Call Registry. AI calls are placed only within 8 am and 9 pm at the called number's local time, and the public demo calls a number only after a code texted to that number is typed back.
- AI voices. The AI receptionist says it is an AI assistant. It never pretends to be a person.
What we do not claim
We do not hold a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report today. We do not sign business associate agreements under HIPAA: do not use the service for protected health information. Two legs of a call are not encrypted (see Security). Our uptime history restarted on 20 September 2026 when the service moved to its Miami servers.
